• Displaying and listing your profile in the HAZANIM CONNECT directory.
• Facilitating connections between families, synagogues, and officiants.
• Responding to inquiries sent through the contact form.

We never sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

Protecting your data on the platform matters to us. However, an essential distinction applies once contact moves outside hazanim-connect.com:

When a user voluntarily shares personal data with a cantor or a client — for example via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or any other means of communication — those exchanges are outside HAZANIM CONNECT's control. We do not collect, process, or monitor the content of those private communications.

Each party remains solely responsible for the use, processing, storage, and sharing of personal data they send or receive after a connection is made. This includes compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable data protection law, and, where relevant, rules specific to their community or organization.

HAZANIM CONNECT acts only as a matching facilitator and cannot be held liable for the actions, failures, or data processing practices of users themselves or of third parties (messaging apps, telecom providers, external hosts, etc.).

• Data published on a profile visible in the directory is the responsibility of the cantor or offer publisher who provided it.
• Data exchanged after direct contact is neither stored nor controlled by HAZANIM CONNECT.
• In the event of a dispute relating to data shared off-platform, the users involved should contact the party with whom they exchanged data directly.

Data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase), with restricted access and industry-standard protection practices.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of information.

Under applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to access and rectify information concerning you.
• Right to request deletion of your profile or certain data.
• Right to withdraw consent or restrict certain processing, where applicable.
